Having control of the Buy Box improves your chances of generating a sale because it is the first 'call to action' that customers see. The location of the Buy Box is frequently enough to produce a sale.
You can generate Amazon PPC advertising if you possess the Buy Box. You can't create advertisements for the product if you don't own the Buy Box, even if it's on your own listing.
VERIFYING YOUR BUY BOX ELIGIBILITY:
Amazon provides two free methods to verify your eligibility.
Go to Inventory > Manage Inventory in Seller Central.

You boost your chances of winning the Buy Box by putting your goods within 5% of the current Buy Box pricing. It's worth noting that the Buy Box pricing is frequently the best deal on a product.
PRIMARY SELLER AWARD
Amazon gives Prime sellers first priority. Sellers who use Amazon's Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) program are automatically eligible for Prime, however merchants who fulfil their own products can also earn this badge by focusing on the following:
Having a failure rate of fewer than 1% on orders.
Following Amazon's product and listing regulations.
Following Amazon's inventory storage guidelines.
EXTREMELY HIGH STOCK LEVEL
If you sell a product that is in short supply, your sales may not reach specific customers in a timely manner. As a result, Amazon may award the Buy Box to sellers who have a lot of stock.
